VAYU Yoga’s Teacher Training course is led by the studio’s founder and Senior Yoga Teacher Lucy Butler. Lucy has been practicing Yoga for 15 years, and teaching for 10. Her experience and mentoring will leave you feeling confident in teaching your own classes within a private or studio setting. With an emphasis on practical teaching, Vinyasa is the focus of this 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
What differentiates us from other Yoga schools is we get you teaching from day one! this may seem daunting however we start you in pairs, then small groups, and you will quickly gain confidence and find your voice!

VAYU Yoga Teacher Training dates: The course is spread over seven, three-day intensive weekends once a month, and is held at the VAYU Yoga studio in central Guildford. We encourage you to join classes, aiding your development and practice with our incredible in-house teachers. The course includes a `complimentary 10-class pack to the value of £160, valid from the first day of the course, 24th January until the last day 13th July.

Syllabus overview and breakdown
The course is broken down into four modules, planned across the weekends ensuring an optimum balance of subjects practical, and theory. We ask you to attend all of the course hours and dates, as a commitment to your qualifications. You are continuously assessed throughout the course, using self-feedback and trainer feedback. You will be mentored throughout the course and given practical advice, rest assured you will be supported on your journey with us!
This course has an emphasis on learning to teach and the practical element, up to 50% of the total hours you will spend learning to teach, structure a class and modify to suit a group. You will cover over 150 of the fundamental Yoga poses, this will ensure you have the foundations to build on your teaching skills, plan your own classes and sequence successfully, and ultimately find your own unique teaching style!

Pranayama ( Breathing exercises )
An exploration of 90 yoga asana, how to practice and teach them from a place of knowledge

Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga practice
