Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master Lucy wants to share her passion and love for Yoga, by creating a calm and inviting studio space. Where you can breathe deeply and energise your morning or release into your evening.
Our principles
Forming the foundation of VAYU Yoga we embody three core principles. Philosophy, Community, and Your Well-being. These principles colour everything we offer at the studio and beyond.
Our philosophy is to curate a diverse class offering layered with intimate events, workshops and courses, allowing you to experience the rich variety Yoga has to offer. Acknowledging the wisdom of Yoga tradition, delivering this in ways that benefit you in today’s fast-paced world. We thread the five movements of VAYU [ winds ] or breath to work harmoniously, assuring health and well-being of body and mind. The circularity of Prana [ breath work ] that flow through the different areas of our body.
Our community is at our heart, offering an accessible approach to Yoga for everyone, from beginners to the more experienced practitioner. Cultivating a sense of connection within our community helps us live more compassionate and inspired lives. Sharing Yoga with like-minded people not only uplifts our spirit, but true human interaction allows us to feel supported on our journey. Being part of an empowered and diverse community with everyone’s journey being unique is one of the most incredible experiences in Yoga.
Your well-being and self-awareness increase through the practice of Yoga. A calm mind and a healthy body can lead towards greater feelings of contentment. Moving tension out the body, de-stressing, building strength, increasing flexibility, and breath control reduces stress considerably. The concentration required during Yoga, focuses your attention on the present moment.
