Amelia Key

Amelia’s love of movement started at a young age with ballet and horse riding. In her teens her focus turned to most sports but mainly hockey and athletics, which she completed to a high level.

Unfortunately, recurring injuries and an autoimmune disorder meant she could no longer continue to play sports at a professional level. At age 17 a doctor suggested she try Yoga as a more gentle form of exercise, and to her aid recovery. She loved how Yoga helped her recovery, keen to learn more, she completed her teacher training after her degree. Amelia loves to share her passion for movement and the positive effects it has on your body and mind.

She continues to teach Yoga in addition to her other work as a school teacher. She has also completed other movement training including barre, TRX and her PT qualification but Yoga is where her heart is. Amelia’s classes offer fun flows approached in a playful and fun way with a focus on movement and breath.
